The Community Learning Centre in Crook is situated at the Royal Corner and was officially opened by Hilary Armstrong MP in December 2000.  The centre is situated opposite the marketplace, with free car park.
It offers a variety of nationally recognised IT courses ranging from absolute beginner courses though to the City and Guilds Level 3 Advanced Diploma.  Flexibility is a major plus for the centre as it gives students the chance to learn at a time and pace to suit their own individual needs and fit in with busy home and work commitments.
Disabled access to the centre is available, with a new chair lift to the first floor and specialist software with specially adapted desks available for wheelchair users and our visually impaired students.
Courses in Businesses & Administration, Computerised Accounts and Counselling have also ran at the centre and the popular FREE literacy and numeracy classes run afternoon and evening on a Monday and Wednesday.

We also offer specialist advice and guidance interviews offering advice on employment, career changes, job search, CV preparation, confidence building and interview skills.
