  • Studying towards your first full Level 2 qualification or your first full Level 3 qualification (for Level 3 conditions please contact Client Services for details on 0800 092 6506)
  • Aged 16 – 18 on the 31 August 2010 (19 for those enrolling for Year 2 of a course)
  • Unemployed and in receipt of income based benefits eg Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance, Council Tax Benefit, Housing Benefits, Working Tax Credit with a household income of less than £15,276, Pension Credits (Guarantee Only), income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Unemployed and in receipt of contribution based Job-Seekers Allowance
  • The unwaged dependants (as defined by Jobcentre Plus) of those listed above
  • Attending a basic skills English or Maths course (Skills for Life)
  • An asylum seeker eligible for Agency FE funding and in receipt of the equivalent of income based benefit and their dependants
